On writing.

This past semester I took a creative writing class, and I really got a lot out of it. I learned what type of genre my writing tends to lean towards, and also what I'm good at. :) I learned what it takes for me to write a well done, complete story- and also how other people work. I know how I need to improve, and what I have (almost) already mastered. At first it was a little difficult to hear other people criticizing my writing, but it's not so bad after a while (In fact it became really interesting to hear their reactions), and it's really helpful for learning how to improve your writing skills. It was also a lot of fun to read other people's stories too! If ever you have an opportunity to take a creative writing class, I would highly recommend it!
So for other writers out there: how do you write, and what do you draw your inspiration from?
